Pinkrods & Minis

After a fabulous start in the 1st heat and a win in her newly completed car, Alischia Dearden was plagued with some mechanical issues, which resulted in her retiring with just one lap to go during the 2nd heat. Mia Kriegler also ran into some mechanical troubles during heat one and did not manage to get back onto the track for the rest of the evening. Michelle Brand was under pressure the entire evening by Sonica Scaife, but eventually pulled through in the finals claiming 1st place with Sonica Scaife hot on her heels taking 2nd place. Morne Scholtz improved in speed and pace the entire evening and took the trophy home in the Mini Class.

Ninja Midgets

This is the cutest class to watch and the future of racing, the look of determination and focus on these faces are priceless!! Follow the Ninja Midgets page for more updates or contact Gerrie Maritz if you would like to get your kid involved in racing!

Midgets & Super Midgets

WHAT A SHOW! They might look the same, but they are totally different machines with the super midgets being faster! Each has their own special place on the track and its always a great race to watch! Well done to Zim Geldenhuys who took 1st place in the midgets followed very closely in 2nd place by Andre Lotze. The Super Midgets results as follows: Emile Giliomee 3rd Place, Shaun Zürich 2nd Place and Louis Zurich in 1st Place

Stockrods / 1660 / 2.1s

A small pack with LOTS OF ACTION! This was the order of the day! The stockrods were competing for the SignsXtreme Sticker Makeover so they were gunning it all the way! An impressive race evening by Justin Bekker who stuck out there and took the Driver Of The Day trophy sponsored by SKF. In the end, the Lady Kayla Jones took 1st place in the stockrods and won the prize with SignsXtreme - hopefully she can now replace those ouchie plasters on her car :) 2nd Place Michello De Jong, 3rd Place Justin Bekker.

We had 2 guest drivers in the 1660 class which made it a great race to watch, these guys give it their all! Well done to Sean Nicholas 3rd Place, Robert Matthee 2nd place and Ruaan Jordaan taking 1st Place.

2.1s - Ayrton Marteningo had some bad luck and hit the wall during the evening resulting in him not finishing. Francois took the trophy in the 2.1 Class.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING HEAVY!!!

Goodwood Used Motor Spares & Access Auto Heavy Metal Challenge

This has always been one of my favourite classes to watch! These guys and gal put pedal to the metal and go for it!! Always a pleasure to watch Kosie Weyers do his thing on the track, but lets not forget the rest of these hardcore drivers battling it out for the win! Steve Bekker retired during the race and Rentia Els proved that she will not be bullied! One tough cookie this is!

Great racing from all the heavy metal drivers, thank you for entertaining the crowd and other drivers with your awesome traditional end of show spinning!! Always a gas!

Final Results: 3rd Place Gawie Smit, 2nd Place Wemer van der Merwe and 1st Kosie Weyers

Nuwe Seisoen Brul Aan Die Lewe by Bredasdorp Raceway
